Legal Experience
Ted has over 22 years of experience in general civil and corporate practice with emphasis on business litigation, commercial lending transactions, real estate and landlord/tenant matters, loan work-out agreements, contract litigation, foreclosures and collections.
His experience also includes representing corporations and individuals in litigation occurring in state and federal courts in Oklahoma, as well as representation in arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
He has experience representing clients in real estate matters, business and corporate law and probate.
He also has experience with the incorporation of churches and religious ministries as well as successfully obtaining federal tax-exempt status for those clients.
Representative Matters
- The foreclosure defense of four low-income tax credit apartment projects in the Tulsa area, which resulted in the restructuring of underlying indebtedness.
- The negotiation and drafting of loan documents on behalf of the project developer relating to the financing of a fixed-income retirement community in Pima County, Arizona, through the issuance of $17,500,000 in multi-family mortgage revenue bonds.
