Legal Experience

J.C. has over 38 years of experience representing corporations and individuals in litigation occurring in federal and state court, appellate court and tax court. His litigation experience includes extensive major litigation, trial, and appellate, Federal District Court of Oklahoma, California, and Texas; U.S. Tax Court; State courts of Oklahoma, Texas, and California; appellate work in 10th, 9th, and 5th Circuits; United States Supreme Court; numerous cases with multi-million dollar issues involved.

He has been involved in the establishment of foundations and other exempt organizations; counseling and tax representation of exempt and other organizations in Internal Revenue Service audits and litigation; and tax representation of exempt and other organizations through appellate procedure in U.S. Supreme Court.

He has also been involved in numerous corporate, financial, and real estate activities, products liability litigation, disputed estate and gift tax matters, elder law matters including estate planning, wills, probate, trusts, estates and guardianships and as general counsel for numerous corporations including active involvement in the day-to-day legal aspects of those corporations.
